In this series of paintings titled 'Sandwich Summer' I attempt to explore my inner feelings in an uninhibited manner. These painting examine themes such as trust, love, sex, guilt, anger and confession. Works predominately focus on the fleeting nature of life and the paths we cross.
Black lives Matter series has came about while working with mothers who have lost children to violence.
Their stories of faith, forgiveness and courage continue to open my senses to a world I only knew from the outside.
Channeled Lives. After a lengthy illness and a year long absence in my studio I returned and spontaneously started painting and sculpting portraits with found objects. The finished pieces make up as an installation wall mural measures 50 feet long.
Sicilia Memories represents the numerous summers my son and I spent on the southern coast of Sicily visiting family.
